For the fifth year in a row, Forsyth County has been ranked as Georgia’s healthiest county.
The County Health Rankings, a study conducted annually by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, plced Forsyth at the top of th elist that examined factors including quality and length of life.
Those two factors determine a county’s health outcomes ranking, while the health factors ranking include statistics on health behaviors (smoking, obesity, drinking, etc.), access to clinical care, social and economic factors and physical environment.
